Bob Denver was born on January 9, 1935 as Robert Osbourne Denver in New Rochelle, New York. He acted as “Maynard G. Kregs” in the 1959-63 TV series The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis and as “Gilligan” on the TV sitcom Gilligan’s Island. Mr. Denver died on September 2, 2005 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
