Zero Mostel was born on February 28, 1915 as Samuel Joel Mostel in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. He acted as “Tevye” in the Fiddler on the Roof and as “Pseudolus” in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Mr. Mostel died on September 8, 1977 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
