Frank Morgan was born on June 1, 1890 as Francis Phillip Wuppermann in New York City, New York. He acted as the “wizard” in the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Mr. Morgan died on September 18, 1949 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California.
