David Lawrence Angell was born on April 10, 1946 in West Barrington, Rhode Island. He was a co-writer for the TV sitcom Cheers. He co-created the TV sitcom Wings. Mr. Angell died on American Airlines Flight 11 during the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 in New York City, New York.
