Canadian Prime Minister (14th, 1963-1968) Lester Bowles Pearson was born on April 23, 1897 in Newtonbrook, Ontario. He said, “The grim fact is that we prepare for war like precocious giants, and for peace like retarded pygmies." [Amen!]... Mr. Pearson died in 1972 in Ottawa, Ontario.
