Mary Baker Eddy died today – 97 years ago
Founder of “Christian Science” Mary Baker Eddy was born as Mary Morse Baker on July 16, 1821 in Bow, New Hampshire. She said, “Health is not a condition of matter, but of Mind." [Wish it was that easy, ... but then, on the other hand, it’s not always that easy to have “positive” beliefs.]... Ms. Eddy died in 1910 in Newton, Massachusetts.

Hello Roger - not sure why you would post the anniversary of MBE's passing, with your parenthetical comment, except to draw comments - so here is one.
if you read Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures, you will discover that Mind capitalized is a synonym for God; so the sentence says that health is a condition of God, not of matter.
so practising Christian Science and demonstrating one's health as sourced in God, is not a matter of "positive beliefs".
and the implication that Mary Baker Eddy's passing, in her 90th year, nullifies all that she accomplished and the great gift that she gave the world, is based on ignorance, lack of knowledge, IMHO.
regards,
Verndigger
If "Mind" = "God", then Ms. Eddy should have just said it... And from where did that "implication" that Ms. Eddy's dying "nullified" anything, come? Did I hit an exposed nerve? Part of my point in posting is that we not forget these people... for whatever reason.
