Alma Schindler Mahler Kokoschka Gropius Werfel died today – 43 years ago
Austrian writer Alma Schindler Mahler Kokoschka Gropius Werfel was born on August 31, 1879 in Vienna, Austria. She had been married to Gustav Mahler, Walter Gropius, and Franz Werfel. Ms. Werfel died in 1964 in New York City, New York.
