Artur Rubenstein died today – 25 years ago
Polish-Jewish-American pianist Artur Rubenstein was born on January 28, 1887 in Łódź, Congress Poland. He said, “Most people ask for happiness on condition. Happiness can only be felt if you don't set any condition.” [Was he saying to just experience it?]... Mr. Rubenstein died in 1982 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Well Remembered, Rubinstein died 25 years ago and his records continue to be loving heard by thousands of music lovers the world over. Also his books and videos, now in DVD, are delighting admirers of this great musician and profoundly intelligent man
