James Brown died today – 1 year ago
U.S. singer James Joseph Brown was born on May 3, 1933 in Barnwell, South Carolina. Watch him with Pavarotti here. He said, “Disco is James Brown, hip-hop is James Brown, rap is James Brown; you know what I'm saying? You hear all the rappers, 90 percent of their music is me." [It’s all me, me, me!]... Mr. Brown died in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia.
