U.S. playwright and novelist Thornton Niven Wilder was born on April 17, 1897 in Madison, Wisconsin. He said, “My advice to you is not to inquire why or whither, but just enjoy the ice cream while it's on your plate." [May I have many flavors.]... Mr. Wilder died in 1975 in Hamden, Connecticut.
