Philosopher and writer (think: “Ethics”) Baruch de Spinoza was born on November 24, 1632 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He said, “Freedom is absolutely necessary for the progress in science and the liberal arts." [And in everything else.]... Mr. Spinoza died on February 21, 1677 in The Hague, Netherlands.
