Actor Danny Thomas was born as Amos Muzyad Jahoob on January 6, 1914 in Deerfield, Michigan. He was the father of "That Girl" Marlo Thomas. He said, “Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others.” [But until you have “things” (like money), can you really do much for others, other than use your time and energy and effort? ... Hey, isn’t that just the equivalent of money?]... Mr. Thomas died on February 6, 1991 in Los Angeles, California.
