Physicist (think: Mach number) Ernst Mach was born on February 18, 1838 in Brno, Czech Republic. He said, “Similarly, many a young man, hearing for the first time of the refraction of stellar light, has thought that doubt was cast on the whole of astronomy, whereas nothing is required but an easily effected and unimportant correction to put everything right again." [And don’t forget it... period.]... Mr. Mach died on February 19, 1916 in Munich, Germany.
Not Mr. Mach, but interesting nonetheless, right?
