U.S. President (6th, 1825-1829) John Quincy Adams was born on July 11, 1767 in Braintree, Massachusetts. He said, “America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy." [Or at least shouldn’t, since there are so many of them here.]... Mr. Adams died on February 23, 1848 in Washington, D.C.
