Writer and aviator Anne Morrow Lindbergh was born on June 22, 1906 in Englewood, New Jersey. She had been married to Charles Lindbergh. She said, “I do not believe that sheer suffering teaches. If suffering alone taught, all the world would be wise, since everyone suffers. To suffering must be added mourning, understanding, patience, love, openness and the willingness to remain vulnerable." [You were -and still are - so correct.]... Ms. Lindbergh died on February 7, 2001 in Passumpsic, Vermont.
