U.S. Supreme Court Justice (1939-1962) Felix Frankfurter was born on November 15, 1882 in Vienna, Austria. He said, “Freedom of the press is not an end in itself but a means to the end of achieving a free society." [Actually, it’s part of having a free society.]... Mr. Frankfurter died on February 22, 1965 in Washington, D.C.
