Dancer and actor (in The Beverly Hillbillies and Barnaby Jones) Buddy Ebsen was born as Christian Rudolph Ebsen, Jr. on April 2, 1908 in Belleville, Illinois. He said, “Writing fiction, there are no limits to what you write as long as it increases the value of the paper you are writing on." [Well, there's a lot of wasted paper.]... Mr. Ebsen died on July 6, 2003 in Torrance, California.
