Carolyn Jeanne Bessette-Kennedy was born on January 7, 1966 in White Plains, Westchester County, New York. She was the wife of John F. Kennedy, Jr... Mrs. Bessette-Kennedy died in an airplane crash in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard on July 16, 1999.
