Guitarist (in KC and the Sunshine Band) Jerome Smith was born on June 18, 1953 in Hialeah, Florida. He said, "This guitar has six... whoops, make that five strings." [Well, it happens... sometimes more than once.]... Mr. Smith died on July 28, 2000 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
