Author (of The Praise of Folly) Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus was born on October 27, 1466 or 1469 in Rotterdam. He said, “No one respects a talent that is concealed." [So get out there and show it.]... Mr. Erasmus died on July 12, 1536 in Basel.
