Composer (of “Suite bergamasque” (“Clair de lune”), “Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune”, and many others.) Achille-Claude Debussy was born on August 22, 1862 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France. He said, “Music is the silence between the notes." [In that case, SOME of us have composed lots and lots of music.]... Mr. Debussy died on March 25, 1918 in Paris, France.
