Philosopher and writer (think: “Das Kapital” (1867)) Karl Heinrich Marx was born on May 5, 1818 in Trier, Prussia. He said, “The more the division of labor and the application of machinery extend, the more does competition extend among the workers, the more do their wages shrink together." [He got it wrong there, as with so many other of his ideas.]... Mr. Marx died on March 14, 1883 in London, UK.
