Actor (in “Casablanca“ (1942)) Peter Lorre was born as László Löwenstein on June 26, 1904 in Rózsahegy, Austria-Hungary (now Slovakia). He said, “You know, Rick, I have many a friend in Casablanca, but somehow, just because you despise me, you are the only one I trust.” [Hmmm.]... Mr. Lorre died on March 23, 1964 in Los Angeles, California.
