Historian and critic Hippolyte Adolphe Taine was born on April 21, 1828 in Vouziers, Ardennes, France. He said, “I have studied many philosophers and many cats. The wisdom of cats is infinitely superior." [Amen!]... Mr. Taine died on March 5, 1893 in Paris France.
