Author (of Uncle Tom’s Cabin) Harriet Beecher Stowe was born on June 14, 1811 in Litchfield, Connecticut. She said, “Human nature is above all things lazy." [Even above hating for little reason at all?]... Ms. Stowe died on July 1, 1896 in Hartford, Connecticut.
