Designer (of the geodesic dome) and author (of Nine Chains to the Moon, Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth, and Critical Path) Richard Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller was born on July 12, 1895 in Milton, Massachusetts. He said, “By 2000, politics will simply fade away. We will not see any political parties." [Too bad he didn't get that one right.]... Mr. Fuller died on July 1, 1983 in Los Angeles, California.
