Miguel de Cervantes died today – 392 years ago

Author (of “La Galatea” (1585), “Don Quixote” (1605, 1614), the poems “Al túmulo del rey Felipe en Sevilla” and “Viaje al Parnaso” (1614), and the plays “El trato de Argel”, “The Siege of Numantia” (1582) and “Lope de Vega”) Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was born on September 29, 1547 in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. He said, “A closed mouth catches no flies." [But if you talk fast enough, the air flow keeps them out.]... Mr. Cervantes died on April 23, 1616 in Madrid, Spain.
