Teacher, nurse, and organizer (of the American Red Cross) Clarissa Harlowe Barton was born on December 25, 1821 in Oxford, Massachusetts. She said, “Everybody's business is nobody's business, and nobody's business is my business." [Very clever indeed. It sounds like Peter McWilliams' Ain't Nobody's Business If You Do.]... Ms. Barton died on April 12, 1912 in Glen Echo, Maryland.
