Dancer and choreographer (in her dance center) Martha Graham was born on May 11, 1894 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania. She said, “No artist is ahead of his time. He is his time; it is just that others are behind the times." [Well, somebody's got to be first... and last... Then we'll all turn around and it'll be the reverse. Ha!]... Ms. Graham died on April 1, 1991 in New York City, New York.
