Author (of “The Death and Life of Great American Cities” (1961)) Jane Jacobs was born on May 4, 1916 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She said, “The point of cities is multiplicity of choice.” [And they’ve got it... and sometimes too much.]... Ms. Jacobs died on April 25, 2006 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
