Entrepreneur and showman (of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus) Phineas Taylor Barnum was born on July 5, 1810 in Bethel, Connecticut. He said, “Every crowd has a silver lining." [Now, it would be plastic.]... Mr. Barnum died on April 7, 1891 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
