Anthropologist and author (of “A Separate Reality”, “Journey to Ixtlan: The Lessons of Don Juan”, and these) Carlos Castaneda was born on December 25, 1925 in Cajamarca, Perú. He said, “The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves happy. The amount of work is the same.” [Probably so.]... Mr. Castaneda died on April 27, 1998 in Los Angeles, California.
