Photographer (creating “Monolith, The Face of Half Dome” (1927), “Georgia O'Keeffe and Orville Cox at Canyon de Chelly” (1937), and “Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico” (1941)) Ansel Easton Adams was born on February 20, 1902 in San Francisco, California. He said, “No man has the right to dictate what other men should perceive, create or produce, but all should be encouraged to reveal themselves, their perceptions and emotions, and to build confidence in the creative spirit." [A-men!]... Mr. Adams died on April 22, 1984 in Carmel, California.
