Russian president (1991-1999) (of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic) Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin was born on February 1, 1931 in Butka, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. He said, “We don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. Freedom is like that. It's like air. When you have it, you don't notice it." [He really said that?]... Mr. Yeltsin died on April 23, 2007 in Moscow, Russia.
