Comedian (in the “Smothers Brothers” TV shows) and U.S. Presidential contender (in 1968, 1972, 1980, 1988, 1992, and 1996) Patrick Layton Paulsen was born on July 6, 1927 in South Bend, Washington. He said, “Assuming either the Left Wing or the Right Wing gained control of the country, it would probably fly around in circles." [Good one... No! Great one!]... Mr. Paulsen died on April 24, 1997 in Tijuana, Mexico.
