Singer, composer (of “I Shot the Sheriff”), and guitarist Robert "Bob" Nesta Marley was born on February 6, 1945 in Nine Mile, Saint Ann, Jamaica. He said, “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind." [Ain’t that the truth!]... Mr. Marley died on May 11, 1981 in Miami, Florida.
