Painter (of “Van Gogh Painting Sunflowers” (1888) and many more) Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin was born on June 7, 1848 in Paris, France. He said, “Art is either plagiarism or revolution." [Can’t it just be pretty?]... Mr. Gauguin died on May 8, 1903 in Atuona, Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia.
