Painter (of the “Mona Lisa” and others), sculptor (of “David”), author (of journals), and inventor Leonardo da Vinci was born as Leonardo di Ser Piero on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Florence (Italy). He said, “It's easier to resist at the beginning than at the end." [But some of us have invested so much time in it.]... Mr. da Vinci died on May 2, 1519 in Amboise, Indre-et-Loire, (France).
