Explorer (of Africa) David Livingstone was born on March 19, 1813 in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. He said, “I am prepared to go anywhere, provided it be forward." [It’s easier than walking backwards.]... Mr. Livingstone died on May 1, 1873 near Lake Bangweulu, Zambia.
