Author (of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” (1900) and many other works) Lyman Frank Baum was born on May 15, 1856 in Chittenango, New York. He said, “The road to the City of Emeralds is paved with yellow brick." [Yellow... as in gold?]... Mr. Baum died on May 6, 1919 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
