Author (of “Rich Man, Poor Man”) Irwin Shaw was born as Irwin Gilbert Shamforoff on February 27, 1913 in South Bronx, New York City, New York. He said, “There are too many books I haven't read, too many places I haven't seen, too many memories I haven't kept long enough." [There’s just too much of everything.]... Mr. Shaw died on May 16, 1984 in Davos, Switzerland.
