J. Edgar Hoover died today – 36 years ago

FBI director John Edgar Hoover was born on January 1, 1895 in Washington, D.C. He said, “Above all, I would teach him to tell the truth. Truth-telling, I have found, is the key to responsible citizenship. The thousands of criminals I have seen in 40 years of law enforcement have had one thing in common: Every single one was a liar." [Maybe they were just trying to keep up with some of the politicians... and others.]... Mr. Hoover died on May 2, 1972 in Washington, D.C.
