Entertainer and creator (of “The Muppets”) James Maury Henson was born on September 24, 1936 in Greenville, Mississippi. He said, “It has always been difficult to get Big Bird to be very pretty. Big Bird in England is much more gorgeous." [We’re just a plain people.]... Mr. Henson died on May 16, 1990 in New York City, New York.
