Singer (of “Catch a Falling Star” and many other songs) and actor (in “Words and Music” (1948)) Pierino Ronald "Perry" Como was born on May 18, 1912 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He said, “Acting coaches in Hollywood were always telling me to use my hands and body more. But that was never me. I just breathe and sometimes it doesn't look as if I'm doing that." [You'd better watch that or someone might think that you’re dead.]... Mr. Como died on May 12, 2001 in Jupiter Inlet Colony, Florida.
