Naturalist and author (of “The Grand Canyon: Today and All Its Yesterdays” (1957)) Joseph Wood Krutch was born on November 25, 1893 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He said, “Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia." [They do seem to have a knack for sleeping.]... Mr. Krutch died on May 22, 1970 in Tucson, Arizona.
