Author (of “Not Without Laughter” and “Let America Be America Again”) Langston Hughes was born on February 1, 1902 in Joplin, Missouri. He said, “Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly." [Then get out there and, as Peter McWilliams said, "Do It!"]... Mr. Hughes died on May 22, 1967 in New York City, New York.
