Guitarist Andrés Torres Segovia was born on February 21, 1893 in Linares, Spain. He said, “The piano is a monster that screams when you touch its teeth." [He either wasn't a pianist or didn't know how to use the una corda pedal.]... Mr. Segovia died on June 2, 1987 in Madrid, Spain.
