Author (of Silver Canyon, Last of the Breed, and The Haunted Mesa) Louis L’Amour was born as Louis Dearborn LaMoore on March 22, 1908 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He said, “All loose things seem to drift down to the sea, and so did I." [Like a sand grain in the wind, to the beautiful sea.]... Mr. L’Amour died on June 10, 1988 in Los Angeles, California.
