Producer (of Gone with the Wind and Rebecca) David O. Selznick was born on May 10, 1902 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He said, “I never ate of the grapes nor feared of the eruptions." [He must have been around Pompeii at the time.]... Mr. Selznick died on June 22, 1965 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
