Singer (of Over the Rainbow and You Made Me Love You) and actress (in The Wizard of Oz and A Star is Born) Judy Garland was born as Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10, 1922 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She had been married to David Ross, Vincente Minelli, Sidney Luft, Mark Herron, and Mickey Deans. Ms. Garland said, “Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else." [Imitation may be flattery, but we've got way too much fake back-pattin' goin' on.]... Ms. Garland died on June 22, 1969 in Chelsea, London, England.
